So begins my vacation, days of nothingness filled with random, spur-of-the-moment...stuff! ahaha.
i was jst wandering today by the pedestrain crossing outside Serangoon MRT. The damn button that you supposedly press so that you could cross the road is a scam. I think its jst a placebo effect, something that keeps you occupied while you get across. I mean its for impatient people, lk me, to press so as to think that, 'hey! im doing smtg!' Then you would expect the light to change instantly. Wrong! its a facade. It makes you look lk a damn fool really. But on the other, perhaps in light of promoting a healthy lifestyle, its a conspiracy at its best! MOH, the sports council and LTA have come up with this. While waiting to cross the road, lets at least exercise out fingers. So there, the govt does provide public goods that the free mkt wudnt have provide. Such as free exercise, and even more intense free exercise for the guys! So i say, the buttons a dud & this was written under the Influence. So cheers!
